Snow AGAIN!

Last night my sister informed me that there was a chance we'd have snow. She asked me if I would like a phone call at 5:30 in the morning if school was to be cancelled. Well since I am already up I said yes. What do ya know I woke up to the alarm and no snow. So off to exercise class I went. It was freezing this am. Oh, but after class it was Snowing ICE! ICE! Now it is snow big flakes and the kids are all off to school. I teach dance today and the garage is freezing. Time to get a heater. The little girls just freeze. Oh it is so cold. I think that we are ready for some warmer weather. Yesterday was my day to run it was 28 degrees in the morning. It made running very difficult. On the news they say we may get 2" of snow mixed with ice today. Wow wee have we had the cold temperatures. Some mornings when I get home from class I snuggle in with the kids and try to get warm my bones are so cold that I just freeze, then the shivering starts. I am ready for warmth. I know that it could be worse as 29-33 degrees isn't that cold to some places but... we are ready for sunny skies and 75 degree weather.

10 Years in the making!

So some of you know that Jeramie and I have recently celebrated our 10 year anniversary. Yeah! We had a great day. Jeramie had the day off work and we, as we do every year hung out with the kids. We seem to do a little something just for us around the first of February. We had been experiencing some cabin fever with all the snow and had dinner planned at home and on a whim went to Claim Jumper one of our favorite dinner spots. Since we got married on New Years Eve we always have enjoyed being with the kids. We had an enjoyable day went to dinner and when we got home we enjoyed playing games, building creatures out of legos, and watching Dick Clarks Rockin New Year. To ring in the new year we had a silly string war out side. The kids really love that every year they get to attack mom and dad.

Our Christmas morning started off by getting woken up by 8:00 am. The kids ran into our room and wanted daddy to check if Santa had come. I got up immediately but... Daddy was another story. He was taking his sweet time. So it took some work on the kids part to get him up and when daddy was up the kids raced down to see what Santa had brought. First they went to see if Santa ate the cookies and the reindeer ate the carrots. Then off to see the Tree. I love to see their faces on Christmas morning.
Renee was excited as she got a Fancy Nancy puzzle from the Dotsons.

I printed out the vynal letters for Shannon to put above her couch on a drop down beam.
July 4, 1776
On December 26 Renee had her stitches out. She wanted Harrison to go with her as he had stitches in his had exactly one year ago. We love how supportive Harrison was.
Okay I didn't really put the pictures in the best order. Below is a picture of Tanner receiving his last gift. Our friend/neighbor makes Guitars. For the past 3 years Tanner has watched him make them and has expressed his desire to have one. For 3 years he kept saying to Wayne "Is that my Guitar?" Tanner even showed him a picture of how he wanted Wilson to build it. So we had Wilson make it for Christmas. He started building it back in the summer. Little by little the end result was above our expectation. It is absolutely amazing. The Guitar plays acoustic, and electric. The speakers, amplifier, are built in. Wilson even put in a jack that allows only Tanner to hear him playing. That was a bonus. Thank you Wilson for making Tanner's Day, week, month, Year and many more years to come.
priceless

Renee is always taking our camera. She takes pictures of everything. She is quit the Photographer. Jeramie wanted to get her her first camera. She was totally surprised. It was an unexpected gift.
Grandma Cameron made the kids aprons. They loved them and put them on right away. I loved them too. They were perfect. Thank you

Such a little mommy.

I love their faces when they are excited. Tanner loves comic books.

Now they wont steel my MP3. We got their own. YES!

Santa brought Renee a new dolly. She named her Carolina.
Renee taking pictures.
Pictures by Renee!

Taken by Tanner.
Christmas Eve We let them open one gift. I made Jammie bottoms and the got a new book.

Tanner taking pictures of Renee dancing.

Tanner off to play in the snow. We got creative with out having snow clothes. He had a pair of socks on with a bag over the top to keep the heat in then another pair of socks over the top. then big bags over that tied to his jeans and a pair of sweats over the bags. He stayed warm. The first time in the snow he was cold and we had to pop him in the warm bath to thaw him out. Tanner thought that this was fun.

This is a snow cave on the top of the car. The little hole is seeing through to the other side.
Wilson Removed a chunk off his car with bare hands. BURRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrr!
This is a picture of our friends and neighbors trying to see what thier car looks like underneath all that snow.

This is Jeramie's car with Ice holding up about 4" of snow.
Now this is a snow bank. Just so you know I took that snow ball right after taking this picture.
I so prey that this tree doesn't fall. If it does we could have major problems. I hate this tree so it wouldn't be so bad.... but, it would be a lot worse if it fell. Notice Jeramies car covered in snow is in timber position.
Check out my house, Check out that tree!
I am standing in front of my house looking down the street.
This is a picture of the field by our house. I hope that with all of this snow covering the fields it has killed the mice and rats so they wont find shelter at my house.
Just one of our trees in the back yard.

I was nervous that the Ice wouldn't break over Tanner's head
These are chunks of Ice. I mean CHUNKS

Tanner and Renee were throwing the Ice and it didn't even break the top layer it broke and shattered the chunks first.
Check out this AWESOME SNOW! It is C R A Z Y!
Just a cute picture of Jeramie. He was holding the umbrella for Renee to put her coat on. We were helping Grandpa cut down a tree.
Our backyard covered in snow from the back door all the way out. We have 18" of snow with about an 1" of ice on top. The kids went out to break the ice.
We met up with the Dotson's to celebrate Harrison's birthday. This was a treat since we had been snowed in for 6 days. Cabin fever was setting in and we were needing a B R E A K!
It is funny these two are more like brothers than cousins. They just love each other so much
HAPPY BIRTHDAY HARRISON! we love you, You are now a double DIGIT!
Renee,Amanda and Sparkles keeping cozy watching yet another MOVIE
Recovery Renee all we've done is watch movies and be cozy. Trying to keep warm and occupied.
All my little Princess wanted was to sleep in her own bed. It was so hard to be in the ER for 8 hrs. No fun.
