Soccer Season has begun!!! I just can't believe that we have two soccer players this year. Tanner practices Tues/Thurs and Renee on Mon/Wed. CRAZY, 4 nights a week. Jeramie attended the first coaches meeting and was recruited to coach for Renee's team too. Jeramie was a little unsure that he could coach for both teams so he recruited our friend Jason to help. So Jeramie coaches Tanner with Sean as his assist. coach and assist. coaches Renee. Wow! This is a fun season I love watching Tanner and Renee active and having fun. Last year Renee helped Tanner with his team as they were short players. Renee even got a trophy. We were unsure of having her play as she'd play for a little bit then say I don't want to play. I am very proud of her. She is really playing good this year. Thank you Renee!!

What a shot! I love this boy. Did I mention he's a Peterson. He loves (LOVES) competition. He is driven by winning!

They were playing a little game keep away. Do you see the BIG GUY! That is Uncle Sean assist coaching. Thank you Sean!
Another game they are trying to get the ball around as many cones as they can in a minute. Do you think that they can concentrate enough to count and try to get the ball around a cone. It is amazing that the can multi task at practice but... when it comes to multitasking at home all bets are off.
Look at my Kids don't they look cute. Renee wanted to wear her soccer shoes so that she could practice. Lucky for her they were short a player. Renee was able to scrimmage with them.
Tanner and a few team mates. Marissa just ran out of the picture as I was taking it. Did I mention our headless coach????
Holly and Renee two peas in a pot up to no good. We just love Holly. She occupied Renee at the playground while Renee wasn't playing. They played red light green light. I love that game.
Kodak moment right here. Too Funny! The other night I hear lots of laughing from up stairs and then it move down stairs. Tanner and Renee dolled up daddy. Doesn't he look lovely?
The kids were so proud especially Renee.
Tanner is practicing he facial expressions. He starts Hip Hop on Wednesday next week.
I love you JP and the kids love you more. Gotcha. Remember me asking if you if you'd let the kids dress you up and you reluctantly said "Yes". Well you never committed to me putting them up on a blog. I guess you don't have a say when I am the one posting pictures.
Oh my goodness. the room the paint. P A I N T I N G... We decided that we wont paint again unless we have enough money to pay someone. Uh Dad that is your department. So we are finished. I love the color contrast. No more blue ceiling. It is soooo Pretty
Thank you daddy for all the hours in making Renee's room look so nice. She loves you too.

Look at these two great sports! They never complained once. Peggy they probably would love to work for you as long as you had freezy pops for them.
Thanks to Wendy you all now can see everything that we are doing. A little TMI. Thank you Wendy for helping me as you can tell I am posting pictures like crazy. Oh Jeramie said that either I need to proof read or he will. Sorry about the temperature reading. That just goes to show my dyslexia. I am just loving that you all can be apart of our life even though we are far away. I don't have the picture order right either. So they are a little out of order.
Renee fell asleep on the couch after a long day of re-painting her room to the right color.
Okay as you saw earlier the pink was just a little toooooo pink. I woke up this morning not feelin' it. I knew that I wouldn't be happy so I convinced Jeramie to add white. We had to dilute the paint lots. My friend Rebecca came over and suggested we paint the bottom pink and sponge on the pink with a white wash circular motion. I know that it is hard to see the top above the chair rail but it looks much better. After priming her room twice and painting twice Jeramie and I decided that we hate painting with a passion. I believe it was Jeramie who said next time you (we) decide to paint we better have enough money to hire someone to paint for us.

we were deciding if we liked the chocolate brown chair rail. After all was said and done we decided to veto that and leave it white. "less is more"? We don't need to make her room a chocolate sweet "F" factory.
we liked this picture and thought it would go well with her room. Have a great day everyone!
Is it pink or what????????????? I was hoping the pink would be little more subtle. Renee loves it. She asked this morning can we paint my ceiling purple???????? UH No!
So below are pictures of us painting Renee's room. Shannon was supposed to see Phantom of the Opera last night with Sean. We both had children sick with fevers. Renee was at 89.7, Marissa at 89 and still weak and groggy, and Harrison was at 100.7. So Shannon asked if I would like to be her date. Who would refuse. I was able to be her escort for the evening. I love it. I love my sister. Thank you for the bonding experience and a night out on the town. Sha you are the best.
We were all painting listening to music and in a groove. When all of a sudden I hear... my monster has lots of eyes. does your's have teeth? mine has is smiling... What! I turn and look and see that they have been creative. I love that I love my kids!!! You are awesome.
My monster has eyes and teeth everywhere
A picture of the MONSTER LOOK LIKE!!!
Ahhhh!
Such worker bees. Tanner and Renee did the bottom portion of her room. We were really impressed how much they participated in painting. Thank you for your help.
We have lived in our house for 3 yrs now and this is Renee's room. It was a sailor room for a baby boy previously. Renee has always wanted her room painted. Can you see the blue sky ceiling? Renee says that it gives her night mares. So for her birthday we said we'd paint her room. She wanted pink and chocolate brown. The Princess room. this is Stage on in painting.

This last week we were blessed to have Wendy and the kids come for a visit. The flights out of Texas are always packed. We wern't sure they would make it and they did. We had a wonderful time with them going to parks, site seeing, making jewelry, playing at the Beach in the Rain, Playing Settlers ( I didn't get mad and curse the game... WOW!) Wendy won as always! Most of all the time I had with Wendy was Precious. I have tears in my eyes as we really bonded. I just love her. Thank you for coming Wendy. We miss you already.
Aunt Wendy got Renee Hello Kitty Bingo. What a fun game. We play it every day now!
Happy Birthday Girls. We celebrated Addy's 7th and Renee's 5th.
This is funny, Addyson is 3 months older than Tanner and is so much taller. These two were so cute. Just about everywhere they went they were hand in hand. I wish I had a picture.
At the Rose Garden there is this Water fountain and I don't think that it was meant for we ones to play in it but... it was hot. I enjoyed watching the kids play and have fun!!!
Say cheese! or shall I say "Chicken Guts" Do you know how hard it is to get 5 kids to all look at the camera? Not to mention smiling? I found it very difficult. Public Sand Boxes... Germs and what nots are in there. Oh what the heck they were having fun. That is what it is all about.
It was Awesome to have Wendy, Addyson, Ethan, and Paige come visit. I have to say it was 5 peas in a pod most of the time. I loved it.
This Summer Renee wanted her training wheels off. We worked with her and after a few seconds she was done. This went on for weeks. On and then off. Did she really try? No! Renee wanted to go to the Library and daddy had my car and his car was at the shop. I told Renee "If you could ride your bike we could go to the library". That day Renee was determined to get to the library. Soo she had me help her and with in 15 min. she was doing it all on her own.. I mean no help even starting. Renee you are an amazing little girl when you put your mind to something you can accomplish anything.
Our free spirit. Thinking out of the box... She is on her own agenda. Renee was a little board waiting for the sun to set so she found the tree. We just love her big smile.
Ahhhhhhhhh...... I just love this picture! My sweet boy taking it all in wating for the sun to set.
One of many trips to Cannon Beach. We had a super time. I have never seen so many ppl at the Beach as I did that day. The kids swam in the water and built Sandcastles all day. Oh there is Marissa in the back building.
Tanner found this rock digging in the sand. He was looking for TREASURE!!! Arrr Matie. I think that the rock is a Treasure. It symbolizes Hay Stack Rock. GOONIES Rock.
Mom and her Girls! We are all so very happy for you, Congratulations! I just love these ladies!
A picture like this just doesn't happen very often. Wendy sure is the Princess amongst the Three Musketeers!

Carma and Jarrett at the BBQ. I don't think that they planned on being so matchy matchy although they both do look very happy. It was nice to meet Jarrett and have a little time before the wedding to get to know him.

I got to thinking today how crazy it is that in two weeks Tanner and Renee start school. It feels like yesterday that Tanner graduated from Kindergarten. Now he is a first grader and Renee is attending Pre-School. Yikes! So.... Below are pictures of me reminiscing of yesterday.
Miss Renee! Everyone thought all year that she was a kinder. Think again she wasn't even in Pre-school. She always seemed to fit right in with the Girls! With Renee turning 5 in September she misses the cut off. Sorry Renee. We chose to hold you back so you'd be older in your class. These girls loved Renee and included her in all the class parties.
Tanner and two of his very good buddies. James and Michael. These are three very roughty and silly boys when they get together. Nice tongue James. I said cheese not see food!
Tanner and his Kinder teacher - Mrs. Simonsen. WE love her! I know everyone says this but... She was the "Best". I have to say for Tanner there couldn't have been a better teacher to meet his needs. I just can't believe he is going into 1st grade. How crazy. Way to go Tanner one year down and lets see how many more???

Tanner loved T-Ball and has quit the arm. Boy can he pitch. Tanner played 1st base most of the time. The coach on one of the other teams is the Elders Quarm Pres. in our ward and realized Tanner's strength. Tanner was catching all the balls. Most all of his team members got tagged out by Tanner. Way to go Tanner!
Renee is always such a good sport going to ALL of Tanner's practices and games. This particular game Renee got a little board. She started to climb the trees. Daddy got camera happy and took pictures of her.
We went hiking at Multnomah Falls and other surrounding falls in Oregon. We had great weather. A little over cast and cool. We took a picnic lunch. The kids really enjoy being out doors. I think that they get that from their Daddy! We did some hiking and saw lots of pretty birds. Tanner and Renee wanted to see more animals and were bummed that they only saw birds.
