Happy New Year!

Elder Parkinson. What a wonderful missionary and example to our family. He is a fine young man and has such a great spirit. Funny too! we were always laughing. The kids think he is like a brother to them. I loved that my son Tanner was able to ask him questions about being a missionary. We felt the spirit very strongly when he was in our home. We sure miss him.

Elder Parkinson, he is sitting next to Tanner. He is our favorite missionary. The kids loved him and we did too. He supprised us a week ago and came over in the evening to chat. It was so nice the kids shared stories about disneyland and had a great visit. Elder Parkinson informed us that he was being transfered to Aloha. He had been in our ward for 6 months. He is awesome. We were sad to see him move on. I hear that he is doing well. We have adopted him as apart of our family and wish him well.

Ox Bow Park. Since Jeramie had a three day weekend. He decided that he wanted to be out side. Enjoying nature. I call it being GREEN! Jeramie wanted to see the salmon run and the Salmon festival was going on. The pictures were taken at the Sandy River down from MT. Hood.

The kids were looking through glasses that helped them see the salmon. It was really cool. They also looked through the telescope and were in awe of all the salmon.

WE got to see some dear. Oh that was cool. Watching them eat. They were so close to us the kids were playing at the play ground and they were only a few feet away. The kids were amazed that they didn't run away. Tanner and Renee tried to get closer buy, mommy and daddy got nervous.

Slide races. If there is anything that they can do side by side there is always a race. Tanner won!

On Columbus Day we went to the Japaneese Gardens. We love to be out doors and enjoy what beauty we have in Portland. Renee had pre-school and was out at 12pm so we pulled Tanner out early and enjoyed the rest of the day as a family. Thank you to the libraries here they have cultural passes,so we checked one out and took off for the day.

Daddy was Renee's assistant coach. She really wanted to play this year. I was reluctant and Jeramie was all over it. She said she'd play so daddy signed her up. WOW! Great Job Renee, she scored lots of goals. I missed getting the picture of the actual goal the camera wasn't fast enough. Although I usually got the after math. Her excitement.

Renee's first metal. Last year they got bobble head trophys. My kids didn't like them so Thank you to the head coach he got metals.

Fire Awareness Week.The local Fire Department was having an open house this last saturday. I went shopping and Jeramie took the kids. They got to wear the whole get up, and climb in the trucks, use the hose and crafts. Apparently this was one of those times when I thought I was getting away by my self and found that I missed a lot of fun.

Disneyland here we come! We are so excited no one slept.

WE are HERE! Oh wow where do we start. Of course we took our first picture here.

Look at that face it is priceless! And this was the start of many faces like this.

The kids didn't even have their autograph books and we saw lots of characters. So that was the first thing we bought.

When Jeramie bought Tanners Autograph bk. The lady gave the kids the 1st time pins. The kids wore them proudly and then they went to the back pack. We rode the train around the park so the kids could see all of Disneyland. They were very anxious to get started.

I just thought that Pooh was so snuggly that I had to jump in.

Dinner at Cafe' Orleans. We love eating there. Renee was hungry and being very funny. Watch her energy dwindle.

Awwwww. Tanner and Renee are very lovey. Aren't they cute?

Oh there she goes. She crashed. Pooped out is more like it. We learned to eat Dinner around 4:30pm then have a night snack around 8pm.

Our very first day was AWSOME! We rode all the big rides. We started with Auto topia, then the rockets, dumbo, space mt., Matterhorn, Big Thunder Mt., Splash Mt. We were all over the park that day but, we got in all the big rides. WE were RUNNING. The kids loved it and were ready for more.

This was a highlight. We love Captin Jack. WE spotted him over at Indiana Jones and walked with him over to the boat that takes you over to the Island. He took my glasses out of the back pack and was asking jeramie where he stole them from. Capt. Jack was so Cool.

Capt. Jack gave the kids lots of time. Although due to him really acting the part. I thought that we were in the movie. Tanner and Renee almost couldn't keep up with him.

Tanner did the Jedi Traing. This was the first time. Tanner was picked. Thank you for all the advice. Wear a bright colored shirt. Jump and yell. Wave your hands in the air. He loved it! Jedi Training was so cool we did it 4 times. We have video and all kinds of pictures. Tanner faught DARTH VADER 2 and DARTH MAHL 1 he was picked to do this 3 times.

Yes. we took the kids on Tower of Terror. Can you see Renees face She wasn't very happy. Our three ride rule went out the door. We wont go on that again. Sorry daddy.

Princess Renee has turned 5 and so we ate dinner at Ariels Grotto. She had dinner with the Princesses. We loved it. Dinner was great and the kids had a wonderful time.

Snow White was so pretty and so sweet. She was the first Princess to come in while we were eating dinner.

Cinderella came in second. Renee was in AWWWWW the whole time as Cinderella is her favorite Princess.

Cinderella told Renee that she was wearing her wedding dress. I am so glad that we did the dinner. We will definatly do this again.

Daddy spoiled his princess. Renee went to the princess store in Fantacy Land and picked out THIS DRESS and glass slippers. and her very own Tiarra. I picked out a different Tiarra and was told by Renee it's pretty but I like this one. Daddy and his little princess.

As we were leaving Ariel's Grotto we snapped a few shots of the kids.

Awe. So sweet. We loved the spiral staircase. Out the window is the best ride. California Screamin'

We just loved the dress. Most of all I loved watching Renee walk from behind.

Tanner was singing and dancing in the middle of Disney California. He was so funny.

This was so incrediably funny. See I spared you all we took over 1,000 pictures and I only chose these select few to show you. So the story behind this picture is....How many times can you say "smile Renee" before she just says no more? Daddy wanted to get one more picture and she said NO! Tinker bell attitude went over and plopped her princess self on the bench. Waving her hands in the air and talking to her self I managed to get this picture. I only wish I would have gotten her on video from before. I guess you had to be there it was so funny. Although when she found out that I was taking a picture and that Daddy, Tanner and mommy were laughing at her she got up and walked away crying. We love you Princess Renee.

This was the Pirate water slide at our Hotel. The big water bucket dumps water on the kids. to the left is a side by side slide to the right is the big gree windy slide. The kids loved it.

The kids are both under this somewhere. THey made both jeramie and I stand under this. It was cold and very fun.

Tanner was a little fish and couldn't get enough of this slide.

Renee loved to swim at the bottom of the slide.

Tanner and Renee wanted to have their faces painted. We advised against it. Tanners was a beast to get off.

At the fantacy fair you can have stories read by the pricesses, ediquet by them and have your picture taken with them. We had more pictures taken with the pricesses.

Cinderella. She is our favorite.

Micky's House was cool. We saw micky in all his different outfits but, never in the red shorts.

Jedi Training. Thank you to the bold face he was able to do this again. "Duck" Tanner was very good at this.

Jeramie collects Tigger ornaments at Christmas and so he had to get his picture with him. Although his favorite character is GRUMPY and EYORE!

Renee's shorts got soaked on Grizzly River RApids. Thanks to Tanner and mommy we had an alternative. Renee's denum shorts never dried. so she wore Tanner's jacket all night.

CRUELLA She was awesome. Wow! it was amazing to see her and hear her in character.

This was the last night before we were to go home. After tanners bath he went to snuggle with daddy. By the time I came out of the bathroom Tanner and daddy were asleep. Oh I was the only one awake sooooo that ment I was left to do allllllllllllll the packing. That was okay Jeramie helped in the am. I ran my family fast and we had a FABULOUS time.

WE got free DISNEY CASH $100-. It was way cool. Of course we spent it but we had to take a picture.

Our last day. How sad

Splash MT. One of the fam favs. The top four were Splash Mt., Space MT., Sorin', and Grizzly River Rapids. One night we rode this 5 times in a row. No line no weight.
